Q: What’s your job (on Sound Symphony) and what do you like about it?
A: I am the Producer – some of my work is creative, some administrative, and some financial. I work with the lead artist to shape the project design, fundraise for it and manage the delivery of the project. I get to work across a lot of different projects, with brilliant, interesting people and I love that every day is different and every day is a school day.
Q: What’s the hardest bit of your job?
A: Probably communications – trying to understand/disseminate the complex and beautiful into the engaging and appealing.
Q: What’s your favourite thing about working on Sound Symphony?
A: The audience. I’m so excited that we are creating a performance especially for this audience of profoundly autistic young people. This could be someone’s first or only theatre experience and I just love that it’s just for them. Exclusive inclusion.
Q: What is your favourite sound?
A: My little girl’s laughter is the most incredible sound (or a champagne cork popping!)
