Performed by Jack Hunter with live music from Nik Paget-Tomlinson
Curvature of the Soul is a comedic and surreal spoken word show. Upon discovering that he has a hole in his shoe, Jack is forced on an introspective journey to learn how to put his best foot forward in our inaccessible world.
Jack tells stories and poems inspired by his own experience that rebel against everyday ableism with glee and piercing honesty. Jack takes aim at anything and everything from the scourge of low expectations, to bearing the burden of being an “inspiration”.
Jack’s poems touch on a variety of themes such as mental health, dating, public transport, the pros and consof orthotic shoes and disability representation. Everyday life through a disabled lens.
Curvature of the Soul will be performed as part of Danae Festival at ZONA K, Milan on Sunday 8 November at 7pm. More information & tickets >> here.
