Sonia Allori is a composer, performer, researcher and community music therapist. She completed a PhD in music composition in 2011 which explored interactions between words and music.

Recent commissions include “Concentric Circles” (2019) as part of Ben Lunn’s Sign Cycle, “Lost & Found” (2017/18) with Drake Music Scotland and “Last Tango in Liverpool” (2018) for Dadafest. In 2019 Sonia performed in “Sound Symphony” by Ellie Griffiths (Independent Arts Projects) & “The Lost Thing” (Candoco/Royal Opera House).

In 2020 Sonia has been an Artist: International Sensory Lab (Oily Cart), Development Artist (Sonic Bothy) & Artist in Residence (Drake Music).
